Kasey Sealy
Contemporary Impressionist
Born in Forbes in 1961, Kasey began painting at the age of 17yrs in 1978, and has painted professionally since 1980.
He has had 6 solo exhibitions in London and has been represented at major London Art Fairs, such as ‘Olympia’ where a record price of 18,000 pounds was established for a major canvas in 2002.
Kasey has painted in many overseas countries, including UK, France, Venice, Italy & USA. He still manages regular painting trips around Australia, as his love of the Australian bush is the source of much of his inspiration. He was previously a regular lecturer at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst, but now holds tutorials for Art Society members, throughout Australia, and holds his own home tutorials in his studio.
Kasey states: “My work is a direct influence of the impressionist style of painting with a direct hand eye co ordination in front of the subject trying to capture the subtleties of mood, light and atmosphere, always trying to avoid any formulation, sentimentality and cliché, giving the individual viewer a unique visual experience every time”. Tony White
Watercolour Painting
Tony White is a Watercolour Artist from Newcastle, Australia. He has established a great following with collectors and students alike. His work has been sold as far afield as Germany and the U.K. His social media following is gaining momentum and with over 10,000 Facebook followers, he is hitting his stride around the world. His style is traditional impressionistic landscape with a strong emphasis on light and atmosphere.
Tony has been teaching now for a few years with successful workshops under his belt, as well as Art Society Demonstrations and private tuition. His workshops are fun and relaxed, with a strong focus on building the confidence needed to succeed in watercolour. All skill levels welcomed.
"I am inspired by light. Even in the most innocuous of scenes, if the light is dramatic and the mood is misty or sharp or rainy, then I'm in!. I believe a painting should move you emotionally and if you have to explain it, then it isn't doing its job".
Sandy de Beyer

Sandy trained as a secondary school art teacher. After 20 years of teaching and many awards for drawing and printmaking, she opened her own business in design and interiors, which lead to a career in magazines, writing, styling and photography.
She was Decorating Editor and the first TV presenter for the decorating segment of Better Homes and Gardens, Decorating Editor of Home Beautiful, Gardens and Outdoor Living and Lifestyle Editor for Burkes Backyard magazine and ran her own photo library of gardens, outdoor living and plant based images.
Her art works are in the collections of Qantas, Parliament house in Canberra, numerous hospitals and private collectors in Australia and overseas.
Sally Ryan
Oil Painting
Sally Ryan is an Australian painter and portrait artist living and operating in Sydney. Her style is best described as contemporary realism with an emphasis on portraiture although her practice includes all genres of painting.
Her training in classical painting began at the Julian Ashton Art School, receiving a scholarship there in 2010 and also includes time spent at Studio Escalier (Paris) and The Grand Central Academy (NY).
Sally works in oils, graphite and charcoal and has been recognized in competitions across Australia and internationally including the Archibald, Doug Moran, Portia Geach and Black Swan.
She is a member of Portrait Artists Australia and has had works exhibited with this organisation at the Art House Gallery, NSW Parliament House and the Australian Embassy in Washington. In 2016 she had a portrait of the former premier, Ted Baillieu, unveiled in the Parliament of Victoria and also painted Judith Poole, retiring headmistress of Abbotsleigh Girls School.
David Lake
Painter
David Lake is a painter of the Australian landscape in a traditional style. He has been painting for more than thirty years, and on a professional basis since 2002.
Originally from Sydney he now resides in the small village of Newbridge in the NSW Central Tablelands.
A self-taught artist whose interest in drawing and painting began at school. Initially working in watercolour his early paintings focused on the depiction of our native birds and mammals. The transition to oils also saw a transition in subject, in the mid 1980′s, to the Australian landscape.
“My passion in painting the landscape is about capturing the light and atmosphere of the subject, and whilst it may essentially represent a single moment in time it is, at the same time, timeless”.
David is a Fellow of the Royal Art Society of New South Wales.
Since 2006 David has collected more than eighty 1st prizes in competitions across the state. His work has appeared on several occasions in Australian Artist Magazine, including three feature articles, and he is represented in Max Germaine’s Artists & Galleries of Australia (1990 edition). His paintings can be found in private and municipal collections in Australia and private collections overseas, including the UK, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, and the USA.
Elfriede Bartnitzky

Elfriede is a contemporary painter, using acrylic and mixed media. She loves to explore using colour and texture.
Elfriede's canvases are characterised by strong form and colour laid down in blocks over a textured background.
It's her personal voyage to unlock the beauty of the Australian landscape which is reflected in most of her work.
Steve Fayle
Landscape Sketching
Steve is a practising architect who has spent over 40 years drawing and sketching both architectural and landscapes in pencil and ink.
He instructs basic drawing skills of line and shading to architects and artists alike.
Steve is a full time architect and draws every day – he enjoys passing on his knowledge of monochrome drawing to artists or budding artists!
His pencil and ink tutorials will cover how to treat perspectives in the landscape and work through the effects of various aspects of light and
shade in the drawings.
In his leisure time he records the scenes and landscapes showing his passion and appreciation of the Australian landscape.
